As a part of International Women's Day celebrations, a function was organized on 8th March 2016 to honour Mahila achievers of CRPF family Welfare Centers located in Delhi & NCR.  Talk on "Challenges for a lady entrepreneur" and "Financial support available for women" by experts was the highlight of the function. Nearly 350 Mahilas from all the CRPF Units/GCs and offices located in Delhi & NCR attended the event and benefited from the valuable experience and personal example of the acclaimed Mahila guest speakers.

On the occasion the President, CRPF Family Welfare Association, Smt. Sujatha Prasad emphasized on skill development programme for the women and urged the ladies and other family member to get the benefits from the scheme of Government of India. She said that such scheme will empower the women and will make them financially independent.
