Three dreaded interstate criminals/gangsters of Delhi and Haryana region namely, Surender Malik @ Neetu Dabodha, r/o Village Dabodha, Bahadurgarh, Alok Gupta, r/o Kannauj, UP, and the third one whose identity is being verified, succumbed to their injuries suffered during the encounter with a team of Special Cell of Delhi Police, in the late evening operation. A special team had been constituted to apprehend this most wanted criminal.  The team had received specific information about the movement of Surender Malik @ Neetu and his accomplices to a place near Petrol Pump adjacent to Hotel Grand, Vasant Kunj late in the evening of 24^th October, 2013.  It lay in waiting for the desperate criminals around the Hotel.  At about 10.30 in the evening, an I-20 Hyundai Car was spotted.  When the team approached the vehicle to verify its occupants, the vehicle tried to speed away. The vehicle was chased and upon being intercepted, it hit the Delhi Police vehicle which overtook it to prevent its escape.  The three occupants came out of their vehicle and fired on the police party, which was fired back in retaliation.   The three received bullet injuries and were shifted to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where they were declared dead on arrival.  Two members of the Special Cell Team were hit on their bulletproof jacket while the Police vehicle was also hit by the assailants� bullets.

On 2^nd April 2012 Surender Malik @ Neetu alongwith his associate Sandeep Chitania were taken to Saket Court in Delhi by Haryana Police to produce them in some case. After their production in the court, the Haryana Police was taking him back to Bhondsi. On the way to Bhondsi, while they were passing through Dwarka, their accomplices attacked the police party and helped both the accused persons to flee from police custody.  They also took away the carbine of Haryana Police with them while escaping. This was the beginning of a long list of dreaded crime he committed till he was captured, though not alive, by Delhi Police.

            Surender Malik @ Neetu, after his escape from police custody formed a crime syndicate with his associates,  namely,  Sandeep Chittania, Vikram @ Paras r/o Panipat, Haryana, Alok Gupta r/o Kannoj, UP, Pradeep @ Bhola r/o Village Kair, Najafgarh, Delhi and some other associates of Delhi namely Bakra, Sandeep r/o Village Titesar, Delhi etc. He indulged in extortion, kidnapping, car- jacking, robbery, dacoity and contract killing etc. Some of his associates were arrested by different units of Delhi Police but accused Surender Malik @ Neetu could not be apprehended despite best efforts. Considering the gravity of heinous crimes committed by accused Neetu and his associates, teams of Special Cell were tasked to apprehend the most wanted criminal.

On 09/07/2012 accused Paras @ Vikram s/o Prem Singh r/o Panipat, Haryana, one of the close associate of Surender Malik @ Neetu was brought by Punjab Police to be produced in Rohini Courts. After his production Paras @ Vikram was being taken to New Delhi Railway Station for returning to Punjab. Surender @ Neetu and his accomplice conspired together and facilitated the escape of accused Vikram @Paras from the Punjab Police custody.

Surender Malik @ Neetu along with his associate namely Vikram  @ Paras @ Goldy, Alok Gupta and one Kale were involved in the killing of a Delhi Police Head Constable Ram Kishan, who was posted at a picket in the jurisdiction of PS Kanjhawla, Delhi in the intervening night of 25/26.11.2012.   The brave Head Constable stopped the car of the criminals for checking in the dead of the night.  The accused persons fired upon him and shot him dead.

Punjab Operation of 18^th February, 2013

On 18^th February, 2013, information was received that accused Surender Malik @ Neetu and his close associates were hiding somewhere in Punjab. It was learnt that they had developed a new syndicate in Mansa for committing some heinous crimes. A Special Cell team joined a team of Punjab Police in its efforts to nab the fugitive. When the joint team tried to intercept the Innova car in which he alongwith his accomplice were travelling, they fired upon the police party. The police team retaliated and fired back. A brief encounter took place at the spot between accused Neetu Daboda and his associates Dayanand @ Deena s/o Om Prakash r/o Village Jigri kheda, PS Assand, Distt. Karnal, Haryana.  The police officials narrowly escaped being hurt during the encounter.  Neetu and his associate were injured as a result of bullet hits.  Despite injuries, Neetu sped away taking advantage of traffic free rural area.  Neetu fled away while Dayaram was found in injured condition in the car.  The injured accused was removed to local hospital.

Other important cases

1.                  Accused Surender Malik @ Neetu along with his associate namely Sandeep Chittania, Pradeep @ Bhola r/o Village Kair, Delhi, Bakra r/o Village Kair, Delhi, Inderjeet Sokhar  r/o Village Daboda, Haryana and some other associates kidnapped Pardeep s/o Sh. Azad Singh r/o Village Kair, Delhi, a property dealer from his house on 21/05/2012 for extortion. After his abduction, they took him to an ATM for withdrawal of the said amount on gun point. Somehow he managed to escape from their custody and reported the matter to the police about the incident and got registered this case. In this case four accused persons have been arrested namely Inderjeet Sokkhar, Kapil, Pradeep @ Bhola and Bakra whereas other accused persons namely Surender  Malik @ Neetu and Sandeep Chittania are wanted in the case.

2.                  In June 2012 accused Surender Malik @ Neetu and his associates robbed a white Mahindera S XUV 500 no. HR 14H 9400 from a businessman of Jhajjhar on gun point. They also robbed the licensed pistol, cash and mobile phone of the victim. The accused Surender Malik @ Neetu  is a �Proclaimed offender� in this case from Bahadurgarh Court, Haryana. Haryana police has declared a reward of Rs 50,000/- on the arrest of Surender Malik @ Neetu in this case.

3.                  On 18/09/12 accused Surender Malik @ Neetu and his associates Vikram @ Paras, Alok Gupta and other associates looted an amount of Rs 50 lacs belonging to State Bank of Patiala, Dhigawa Branch, Loharu, Haryana while the bank staff was going to Bhiwani to deposit the cash in their main branch.

4.                  Accused Neetu Dabodha with his associates Alok Gupta and others are also involved in car jacking cases in Haryana. They looted Innova Car and a Polo Car few months back in Haryana in different instances, the details are being verified.

5.                  Accused Neetu Dabodha with his associates murdered  one Tony Malik R/o Nawada, Delhi in Gannur, Distt. Sonipat, Haryana in Sept. 2012, on the suspicion that said Tony Malik was passing over the information of his whereabouts to police.

6.                   In December, 2012, Neetu Daboda alongwith his associate killed one Vijay r/o Pooth Khurd at village Titesar and then they took the body of Vijay in car to Karnal and burned it.

  Reward declared on Surender Malik @ Neetu:

1.            A reward of Rs. 1 lac has been declared by PHQ vide Order No. 12161-220/C&T (AC-III)/PHQ, dated 24.5.2012 on an information leading to his arrest.

2.            A reward of Rs. 1 lac has been declared on an information leading to the arrest of accused persons involved in the murder of Delhi Police Head Constable Ramkishan of PS Kanjhawala vide FIR No. 258/12 Dated 26/11/2012 u/s 186/353/302/34 IPC and 25/27 Arms Act.

 3.            A reward of Rs.  1 lac has been declared by Haryana Police on  his arrest.
