On the occasion of Delhi Police Week 2016 celebrations, a Sampark Sabha-cum-Bada Khana was organized by North-West District today. Above 300 Police Officers and men upto the rank of DCP attended the Sampark Sabha from all Police Stations, Units & Officers of North West District. As many as 332 Police Officers and men of the rank of Constable to Inspector were given away Recommendation Rolls with cash rewards (Rs.14,21,600/- in total). HC Ashok Kumar, HC Rajesh Rana and HC Ajay who were instrumental in arresting 49, 26 and 26 Proclaimed Offenders and respectively received cash rewards to the tune of Rs.99,500/-, Rs.70,700/- and Rs.63,000/-  were the Special Rewardees.   SI Amit and Const. Upender who secured 1st prize for Northern Range in a Debate Competition on "Whether habitual criminals & terrorists should have human rights or not" were also felicitated during the Sampark Sabha. The Police Officers/Men who secured 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in the Annual Badminton Tournament 2016 organized in connection with "Delhi Police Week Celebration" were also awarded trophies.  An open interaction session was also conducted wherein the participants were encouraged to share their grievances, if any, and come up with suggestions for effectively improving upon the overall performance of the Police. The grievances were heard and directions were issued to the concerned for compliance and report.

The Sampark Sabha ended with a note of thanks to the Chair.
