A team of officer�s of crime branch led by ACP Ravinder Kumar Tyagi consisting of Insp. Ashish Kumar Dubey, SI Rajeev Kakkar, HCs Ajay Kumar, Praveen, Jitender, Parmod,  Parvin Tomar, Rakesh, Sudhir, Mahavir and Ct. Karnal under the supervision of undersigned, has  apprehended a notorious and desperate criminal of Bhajanpura, Delhi, who along with his associates brutally beat a person to death.

          On 24/03/2015 an information through PCR was received in P. S Bhajanpura that a male dead body  was lying at 30 Foota Road, Sanjay Mohalla, Bhajanpura. On reaching the spot local police recovered the body lying near  Chuna  Bhatti. Body of the deceased was identified as Om Prakash S/O Sh. Nahar Singh R/o B-170, Gali no. 6, Sanjay Mohalla, age-45 years by his wife Annu. There were several injuries made on the person of deceased.  Hence the dead body was sent to mortuary, GTB Hospital for Autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.  After collecting the postmortem report,  the cause of death has been opined as homicide by the Autopsy surgeon.  Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 608/15 U/s 302 IPC was registered at PS Bhajan Pura and investigation was taken up by the local police.

          On 20/05/2015, information was received by HC Rakesh Kumar that a desperate criminal involved in the murder of one Om Praksah of PS Bhajanpura area will come to meet his associate near the main gate of IHBAS Hospital, GTB Enclave . Acting upon the information, team so constitute, swiftly conducted the raid and apprehended the accused Heera On sustained interrogation, accused confessed his involvement and disclosed that  around two month back, he alongwith Dinesh, Imran and other�s brutally beat Om prakash with Bamboo sticks, fists & blows after tying him with a pole. They continued the brutality till Om Prakash became unconscious. Later they untied him and threw him in a lonely place of Sanjay Mohalla. The injured Om Prakash later succumbed to the injuries.

            Accused Heera lal S/o kanchi Lal R/o E 26/2 Gali No. 2, North Ghonda, Subhash Vihar Bhajan Pura Delhi was born at Village Jhangeer Pur Distt. Goutam Budh Nagar UP.  He studied  up to Graduation from Delhi University  but did not get any job and to fulfill his requirements he started giving tuitions.  Simultaneously  he fell in the company of anti social  elements and starting committing petty crime  . He was initially arrested in 2000 in case of Hurt,  registered at Police Station Bhajan Pura.  In the year 2014 he was arrested by the police of PS Moti Nagar in a case of Robbery.  After releasing from jail he again indulged  in present case.

The accused along with his associates did not allow  the family of the deceased to pursue their case with
